RI/FS: Remedial Investigation and Feasibility Study:
• The Remedial Investigation (RI) is a detailed study of the site to identify the nature and extent of pollution. A human health risk assessment and baseline ecological risk assessment are part of the RI.
• The Feasibility Study (FS) is a description and analysis of potential cleanup alternatives for a site, including no-action.
